Stargrave – Tales of the Outer Rim
A new project is incoming - the Tales of the Outer Rim (TOTOR), and I want to include you in the creative process. But let us set the tone.
It is a time of upheaval.
Nine years after the fall of the Emperor, new powers are struggling for influence in the galaxy. In the Outer Rim, old feuds are simmering, pirates and bounty hunters are making the fringes of civilisation unsafe. Amidst the chaos, small groups of smugglers, deserters and freedom fighters are gathering.
In search of artefacts, credits and a place in the new age, they face the dangers of a shattered galaxy.
With the rules from Stargrave and miniatures from Star Wars: Legion, these stories come to life.
Small skirmishes, great adventures — a new hope on the edge of the stars...
We're going to place the games and narratives around 9 ABY and on the outer rim, where we're outside the main story lines and have more creative freedom. I want Remnants of the Imperial forces, Rebels searching for "resistance nests" of the former Empire, and a lot of third parties, like pirates, mercenaries and other local forces.
As I want to use the Stargrave rules instead of the Legions rule set, to move the games a size smaller in amount of miniatures (Along with using the single player etc.), I still want to make it immersive. So I created some logos for the overall story arch.
These are NOT official series or leaks, it's just me having a bit of fun with photoshop. But you get to vote, which one shall we go for?
- A) The Tales of the ... Style?
- B) The SOLO Adventure Style?
- C) The Disney Rebrand Style?
- D) The Sequel Trilogy Style?
So let me know, which way we should go with our The Outer Rim adventure?
Beyond that, I managed to finish the printed part of my Star Wars collection, a lot of models by Skullforge Studios and Squadmos / David Sheff Models. Among them a larger print (for my comparison), and added a medium sized vehicle the Squamos Desert Speeder (as a counter part to the LRD Truck I already have).
My only issue with the larger prints is how long they take. This one was sliced in Photon Workshop and said it would take around 14h to print - reality were 21h53.
I added a few poses to my collection, especially non-fighting or some certain roles, that were added to Stargrave via the supplements. It is a bit more on the Empire part, as the single player mechanics give me the option to play scenarios and have them react like NPCs.
The only thing that I am missing are creatures, for random encounters. As those are not usual units for Legions you don't get them through Asmodee/Atomic Mass Games and they are rather rare in the STL files as well. And the Rancor is quite large, too large for my printer. But I'll see what I can do.

Even though I’m not a big fan of the Solo movie – that logo looks great! So I vote B 😀
Are you watching Andor S2? I cannot get enough of it.

I have yet to catch up on the last 3 episodes, but I am very much hyped about the Andor series.
