August 2025 review
While it was a bit slow in the beginning of the month, at least in terms of published articles, but that was due to the preparation of a major release of reviews towards the end of the month.
We went big on the latest pre-orders of Legions Imperialis, covering the book and all new plastic kits.
- Liber Strategia
- Mastodon Super Heavy Assault Transport
- Order Tokens and Objectives Markers
- Typhon Heavy Siege Tank
- Cerberus Heavy Tank Destroyer
- Whirlwind and Scorpius Missile Tank
- Vindicator Siege Tank
And we had a big internal meetup, Dino came by and we prepared a Mortal Gods battle report. This is going to be a proof of concept to see how this kind of content can be produced, how much effort and time goes into it and if we're missing any kind of gear to do so.
First rough draft looks great and we're in the middle of post-processing, which is quite time consuming, but we're getting there.
I did some stock keeping and drafting of the scope of myBlood Bowl and Death Zone collection.
Beyond that, I was on the road again, this time for a business trip to Munich and I'm looking forward to go there again in October with the family. Along with the visit (and hopefully behind the scenes) of a well-known gaming store in Southern Germany.
My wife was invited to a regular board game meet-up organised by some people from our Kindergarten parents' committee, and passed this invition on to me. As such I had the great opportunity for some rounds, and we played Dead of Winter and Lords of Waterdeep.
And we're entering the autumn season of events, starting with the Rhein Main Multiversum on September 13th/14th, some pictures from my last visit in 2023.
More dates from our event schedule. Unfortunately the Bitbox was cancelled, but the Paint Meetup stays an fixed item on our schedule. Other upcoming events will be added.
