Asmodee Event Exclusive at SPIEL 2026 for Star Wars Legion and Marvel Crisis Protocol

Two Convention Exclusives at SPIEL 2026: Concept Boba Fett and Mephisto

Asmodee is bringing two of this year's Atomic Mass Games convention exclusives to SPIEL in Essen, and for once you don't have to sprint to the booth on Thursday morning to get one. Both miniatures can be reserved in advance through a ticket system, so the usual first come, first served scramble is off the table.

Star Wars: Legion, Concept Boba Fett

Before Boba Fett became the battered green bounty hunter we know from The Empire Strikes Back, he was a very different design. This exclusive recreates Fett as he appeared in the original concept art for Empire Strikes Back, in the all-white look of the early design. The resin miniature comes with two helmet options, showing how the design evolved from concept to screen, plus foil game cards. It is meant as a stand-in for the regular Boba Fett in your games, so there are no tokens in the box. Price: 40 EUR.

Marvel: Crisis Protocol, Mephisto

The second exclusive is an alternate sculpt of Mephisto, based on Dan Mora's artwork from the Team Tactic card Embrace the Inferno. The Lord of Temptation sits on a throne of flame and shadow, which makes this a proper centrepiece model rather than just another pose. The pack also includes an alternate art stat card. Rules wise nothing changes, it plays exactly like the regular CP66 Mephisto. Price: 50 EUR.

How the reservation works

Reservations have been open since 27 September via Eventbrite, one link per model:

• Star Wars Legion Convention Exclusive Concept Boba Fett (40 EUR, max. 1 per person)
• Marvel Crisis Protocol Convention Exclusive Mephisto (50 EUR, max. 1 per person)

The ticket itself is free and only secures your copy. Tickets are split across the four show days, so you pick the day you want to collect. Your ticket guarantees you a copy on that day only, but it is valid all day, so there is no need to queue at opening time.

A few things to keep in mind:

• You can reserve one ticket per model. Asmodee will cancel multiple bookings so the copy goes to someone else. The limit of one per person also applies to the open sale.
• When booking you enter your name, and at pickup the staff will check it against your ID card, passport or driving licence. Bring one of those.
• You pay on site, cash or card.
• Your ticket has a QR code. Bring it printed or show it in the Eventbrite app.
• If you don't collect your miniature by 17:00 on your chosen day (16:00 on Sunday), your ticket expires and the copy goes into open sale.
• Tickets may not be resold or copied.
• The reservation does not include entry to the show. You need a separate SPIEL ticket.

When and where

SPIEL 2026 runs from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 October at Messe Essen, Messeplatz 1, 45131 Essen. Pickup is at the asmodee shop in Hall 5, booth M600 (not their main booth in Hall 2!). If you have questions beforehand, Asmodee can be reached at deutschland@asmodee.com, and there will be a contact person at the shop during the show.

If you are heading to Essen anyway and play either Star Wars Legion or Crisis Protocol, this is an easy one. If you are on the fence, the reservation costs you nothing up front. Just make sure you actually show up on your day.
