Dreamforge Games – Leviathan Crusader
Dreamforge Games has been announcing this kit for a long time and the Leviathan Crusader was received with correspondingly high expectations. Can it live up to the claim? We take a look at the kit.
The model was made from hard plastic as part of a Kickstarter and is a real giant. The kit is so big that it knocks the current leader of the biggest review, the two Warmachine Colossals, off its throne. The review should also set a new benchmark with over 100 (!) pictures.
Leviathan Crusader
Almost 6 hours and more than 200 pictures later, the review on the Leviathan Crusader from Dreamforge Games is done. It will take a few days until all the images are edited and the text is written, but i don't want you to wait that long and want to show you some pictures ahead of the review.
DSLR Accessoires and other new things
It took a few days until the customs cleared the package. It was kinda tricky, as i didn't know the content. But it arrived and i was astonished. The guys from Dreamforge were really grateful for the support on their kickstarter and product line and send me one of each of their latest products. And the Crusader is huge! How huge? Well ...
Kickstarters and Dragonogres
After waiting that long and the big question, what's in it? I started unboxing the first batch of the Sedition Wars biohazard pledge. And to be sure it's complete.
Tinnelton Pattern Chimera
One or the other of you may have already read the review. I reviewed the Tinnelton Tank Turret from Anarchy Models and i am pretty amazed by the kit.
So inspired by the kit, i got myself a chimera kit and converted it. Primary i shortened the upper part and moved the turret location back.
Last day of January
A brief review on what was going on within the last days and weeks. In the mid of the month i participated at a Painting Day, brought along my freshly primed Khadorians and bazinga! even did some painting done.
Mission 2013
As promissed a small view into what was going on in the last few days.
First off all, the freebooters fate goblins are completely build. No easy thing to do, as some parts just needed to be pinned. The casting quality is amazing, without any doubts, but many of the parts that needed to be glued are incredibly tiny and frustrating to assemble.
Merry Christmas, Frohe Weihnacht, Feliz Navidad
Merry Christmas everybody! Frohe Weihnachten zusammen!
I was really looking forward to post first pictures of what i was doing earlier, but there has been an evil thief that stole my time. This thief is called steam and is having a Winter Sale, with incredible bargains and deals. And due to the extreme amount of savings, i felt for some of them.
Koblenz is calling
After a whole week in the no-hobby-zone of Basel (Nothing going on, and i mean nothing) I was really looking forward to the Painting and Gaming day at my FLGS CTU in Koblenz.
We have a strong warmachine gaming scene in Koblenz and so it was no wonder, that the German National Championship was one by one of us (congrats Robin!). But it wasn't all about gaming, there was painting as well, as the next Field of Glory Army from the albanian national Coach in the third picture shows.
Paint, Sand and Space Marines
I finally made it and spent some time painting. The miniatures for my warmachine khador project and the markers were primed and i could start putting some paint on those.
