Rubicon Models – StuG III Ausf. G
After covering the Maus and some Sci-Fi reviews, it is time to come back to "regular" tanks, like the StuG III. I covered the Warlord / Italeri one last november, and now I want to share the counterpart by Rubicon Models.
Adeptus Mechanicus – Tech-Priest Dominus
To stay with the Mechanicus topic, this review covers the Tech-Priest Dominus by Games Workshop, usable for Skitarii and Cult Mechanicus in Warhammer 40.000.
The miniature itself is available in two ways, as a single clamshell blister for 29 EUR / 22 GBP, or as part of the Start-Collecting Adeptus Mechanicus Bundle for 65 EUR / 50 GBP. The coloured print is the back cover of the blister and instruction leaflet in one.
Mustering Caesars Legion
After introducing the initial idea of Ancient SAGA with Caesar's Legion, it is time to bring some (plastic) pieces together and get it started. The basic foundation of this project are two boxes of plastic 28mm romans from Warlords Hail Caesar range.
Triumvirate of the Imperium – Belisarius Cawl
To continue with the Triumvirate of the Imperium, the next miniature that I'll be taking care of is the Archmagos Dominus Belisarius Cawl. My take on Inquisitor Greyfax can be found here.
Games Workshop released the box last week at a price of 65 EUR / 50 GBP. As I already wrote about the box, I won't go into detail again. But I want to add a few details, that I noticed while working on this review.
Gripping Beast Late Roman Infantry
While most associate Gripping Beast with their SAGA success story and most recently the release of Swordpoint, they presented the latest SAGA supplement Aetius & Arthur in late November. A matching plastic kit was released earlier this year, the Late Roman Infantry.
Bolt Action Churchill Heavy Infantry Tank
The new Churchill Heavy Infantry Tank by Warlord Games comes with a whooping 7 different variants, a reason to cover it in an extended review.
Beyond the Gates of Antares C3M4 Combat Drone
In April of this year, the first vehicle made from plastic for Beyond the Gates of Antares was available. A big step for the system and Warlord Games. It moves the game into another, available size and shows that the game is big enough to be supported by an advanced plastic kit.
Bolt Action Sherman Firefly VC
Shortly after the Sherman V Warlord released the more dangerous VC Firefly - time for a follow up review.
Bolt Action Sherman V
This year Warlord Games brought along a lot of love for the British Armies of Bolt Action, beginning with the Sherman V in early summer 2016.
