Back to the Underhive – Part 2
And again back to the Underhive. First, let me share the collection box of Necromunda, Gorka Morka and other Sidegames from the Warhammer 40.000 Universum. Muties, Diggers, Scavvies and other stuff.
Back to the Underhive – Part 1
While re-arranging the shelfes, i freed up a second one for my Inq28 / Necromunda / Inquimunda Collection. So i decided to proceed doing inventory and basing some of my collection. Therefore i needed to restock on bases.
My Dark Eldar Warband is based on some Voodoo Worx Alien bases, that range was sold to Secret Weapon, so i had to buy them in the states. Fun fact, they arrived at the same time as the Dark Art Bases below, ordered in the UK.
Grenadiers and SCW
I subscribed to the the Wargames Illustrated digital, as their latest deal is just to good to pass it. A full year of WI issues and a Warlord Games plastic box in a bundle for 60 euros. I went for the brand new German Grenadier box (review to follow).
Italeri Tank Traps
Beside the Games Workshop Terrain i got myself the Italeri terrain. It is 1:72 or 20mm scale, but can be bought via Warlord Games as a repack for 28mm. It is the same, you just pay more for the different packaging.
Morrs Garden and Aegis Line
Morrs Garden and some parts of the Aegis Line / Bastions were still in sprues, as i found them.
I like the Morrs Garden kit, as it does not only fit into Warhammer Fantasy, but might be used for any Dark Fantasy or even Pulp settings. Do you remember the scene in Return to Castle Wolfenstein, when you fought Heinrich I at the cemetery? Let's take a look.
Grim Dark Flyers
As mentioned before, i assembled some kits during the cleaning and tidying up. First we have the Space Marine Stormtalon. It is an interesting kit, but the design has some certain flaws. It is supposed to be something nimble, but it is to bulky, so i modified some parts.
Knock out? Punch out!
I found an article about making the Infinity markers more durable and decided to give this a try. The technique can be used, for any kind of round markers, no matter if you use the infinity markers from the boxes or print them out yourself.
What do you need? These tools can be found around the scrap booking supplies. You need a punch tool, those are available in different sizes, i find the 25mm or roughly an inch sized ones quite handy. There are matching epoxy stickers, which can be found in different sizes and forms. I went with the matching 25mm round ones.
Chaosbunker clearing up
Why has it been so silent in the last weeks? We had some holidays and prolonged weekends in Germany, and i used the time to tidy up my workroom a.k.a. the chaosbunkers home office.
The first pro longed weekend, it was really motivating. You could really see the progress. Sorting out some boxes, combining the contents of three boxes into a single one etc. Cleaning sprues, throwing away the empty plastic sprues. And the result of the first weekends work was this.
