Legions Imperialis – Adding a Legio, Knight House or Auxilia to your Traitor Legion
And of course, we have to complete the list of all 18 Legiones Astartes by adding those who pledged their allegiance with the Warmaster Horus. And they wouldn't fight alone, not only with other traitor Astartes, but other parts of the former Imperial warmachine.

The listing is a point to begin with, based upon my research in the wikis and Horus Heresy community. The list of allies will probably grow over the product schedule and campaign supplements for Legions Imperialis. While in case of the Collegia Titanica, the Legio Mortis fought along side every Traitor legion of the Astartes, and the only known titan legions who fought alongside the Night Lords, other flexible options are the Legio Fureans and Legio Krytos, who fought with every traitor legion with the exception of Konrad Curzes troops. Further more the support of Traitor Solar Auxilia, Renegade Militias and the Dark Mechanicum was not infrequently.

Bolt Action French Army Infantry
Regarding infantry kits, the latest addition to the vast range for Bolt Action are the French Army Infantry boxed set, with a lot of options for different units. Let us take a closer look!
While this boxed set is meant to be used for the early years of war, you can assemble them for a lot of different lists, with the regular French Army infantry, fortress troops, chasseurs à pied, engineers or colonial troops (Algerian, Moroccan or Tunisian). While sharing the same uniform, the differentiation is made by the use of helmet / head gear, of which this box covers quite a lot.
Legions Imperialis – Adding a Legio, Knight House or Auxilia to your Loyalist Legion
In Legion Imperialis you have the opportunity to use combined forces, so not just Astartes but field them with support of Knight Households, Titan Legios and Imperial Militias or Auxilia regiments. But which Legiones Astartes fought alongside which of those and what would create a proper alliance according to the lore?

Of course, you can do what you want, it is your hobby, but with the Horus Heresy community known for being fluff bunnies, this is something I wanted to share with you, based upon lists from the fan wikis and combined work by people like David from Cat Hair in the Paint Pot.
I merged the lists and linked the according information from the wikis, so you have it at hand by looking up your Legiones Astartes. Beginning with the Loyalists. With the exception of the Raven Guard, every loyalist legion fought at one point along side the Legio Gryphonicus (War Griffons) and each of them can use the Solar Auxilia without any doubt.
The 1st Legion, the Dark Angels from Caliban, already have the opportunity to bring their troops in Black, Green or White, but are able to field an even broader variety with the following affiliated factions.
Event Schedule for 2024
Another year another fresh event schedule we're trying to make possible this year.

List will be updated accordingly and focus around DACH and BeNeLux countries, with minor exceptions for special occasions:
Bolt Action Sd.Kfz 251/10 Ausf. D (37mm Pak) Half Track
And while we're at it, covering various Bolt Action vehicles and their alterations, let us take a look at the Sd.Kfz. 251/10 Ausf. D with the 37mm PaK.
Just like the Sd.Kfz 250s we have covered over the time on here, the Sd.Kfz. 251/10 uses the base sprue of the Sd.Kfz. 251/1 Ausf. D and with the addition of a compact sprue with a 37mm PaK, is modified into the 251/10 mittlerer Kanonenpanzerwagen mit 3,7-cm-PaK 36 Ausf. D.
Warhammer The Old World – Welcome to the new year!
On New Year's Eve Games Workshop released the definitive announcement of the Warhammer - The Old World Returning for Pre-Order on January 6th, with most likely delivery on January 20th (simultaneously to an event at Warhammer World).

The return of the Old World will be available in English, German and French.
We won't see a "regular" starter set with two armies, but core sets covering a ~1.250 points army of either Tomb Kings or Bretonnians, including the full-sized hardcover (!) rulebook, templates, dice etc. and between ~70 to ~90 miniatures per box. And a bit to my surprise quite the wave of models, ranging from the 90s to the very last years of Warhammer Fantasy Battles, during the End Times in 2015. Some items will be available exclusively through Games Workshop (the Forge World Resins, some made-to-order items and some of the gaming accessories), while the core items (core sets + books) will be available through the independent traders as well.
Happy New Year and December 2023 review
2023 is coming to its end, so enjoy today's New Year's Eve and have a Happy New Year!

We take the chance to do our review on December, and extended to the whole year.
Bolt Action Panzer IV Ausf. B/C/D
It has been a while since the last world war tank reviews, especially in plastic, and today we cover the Panzer IV Ausf. B/C/D by Warlord Games in 28mm / 1:56 scale. This one is released about 8 years after the Panzer IV Ausf. F1/G/H plastic kit.
This kit marks the middle between the Panzer III and later variants of the Panzer IV. To be honest, I am a bit surprised, that we actually saw this one, especially with the inclusion of the Ausf. B and C, as they saw minor alterations to the hull, but were not produced in larger numbers and don't have any different rules than the Ausf. D, and even of that one only about 250 units were produced between 1939 and 1941. To put this into perspective, the Panzer IV was built 8,500 times in total, which is still far less than the 34,000 units of T34/76 or 50,000 units of M4 Shermans built in the same period.
Bolt Action SdKfz 250/1 250/4 and 250/7 variants Ausf. A
This is the third time we're covering the Sd.Kfz. 250. Warlord Games released a base kit and covers the variants with small, additional sprues, and while we had the /3 leichter Funkpanzerwagen and /10 leichter Schützenpanzerwagen (3.7 cm PaK), as well as the /9 leichter Schützenpanzerwagen (2 cm) and /11 leichter Schützenpanzerwagen (schwere Panzerbüchse 41) variant, today's review will be about the new Sd.Kfz. 250/4 leichten Truppenluftschutzpanzerwagen and /7 leichter Schützenpanzerwagen (schwerer Granatwerfer).
Warmaster – Dukedom of Gisoreux Pt 3
With all the talk about the Old World, I feel the need to pick up my old-world themed Warmaster project of the Bretonnian Dukedom of Gisoreux.

The 10 plates were printed and cured in the mean time, costing me less than litre of resin and about a week of printing (the printing time will be less for people who use larger printers and/or newer once, with faster printing time). This would be 23 units, 10 heroes and two artillery pieces, so quite the stunning 3,000 points army.
