Age of Sigmar – Stormcast Eternals Vigilors
The Stormcast Eternals Vigilors are also part of the Stormbringer series, and are one of the last kits that we want to review individually on here.
The Stormcast Eternal Vigilors are ranged infantry who wield lightning-charged Boltstorm Longbows. They specialise in scouting and marking enemies, enabling the rest of the Stormcast army to hit them more accurately. On the battlefield, they act as mobile support archers — tougher than mortal bowmen, but not intended for frontline combat.
A full box containing 10 miniatures has an RRP of 55 EUR, meaning the contents of Stormbringer Issue 31 are worth 22.50 EUR. The box contains the same two sprues as the ones here, but twice as many, and each comes with options for a Vigilator Alpha, as well as five 40 mm round bases. If you purchase them through Stormbringer, be sure to check the full instructions, as you will find more information on the variants/options than in the magazine.
Age of Sigmar Warcry – Kruleboyz Killaboss on Great Gnashtoof
As part of the Stormbringer subscription I added some miniatures here and there. Among them some characters, as I thought I was missing counterparts to the Stormcast Eternals range. For example like the Lord Aquilor on Gryph-Charger.
To balance that out, I got myself the Kruleboyz Killaboss on Great Gnashtoof. This model was originally included in the Dominion starter sets for Age of Sigmar, and is currently available as part of the Orruk Warclans Spearhead, just like the Murknob with Beltcha Banna.
The Killaboss is a fixed-pose sculpt using the push-fit method, meaning you can assemble it without glue, and it comes with a 105 x 70 mm oval base. There is no official RRP for the miniature as it is currently only available as part of the Spearhead set and is often sold separately from split Dominion boxes on marketplaces.
Warhammer World Championship Preview 2025 – Part 2
After covering the previews for Warhammer 40,000 and Horus Heresy we now move on to the fantastic realms of Warhammer with The Old World and Age of Sigmar ... and the return of Warhammer Quest!
While the Big Summer Preview for Warhammer The Old World, this one picks up the introduction of Grand Cathay from earlier this year and shows an extensive second wave with lots of additional choices for their army.
With the Astromanacers of the Celestial Court more magic is added, in a familiar way with a mounted wizard and on one foot, along with a raven familiar. Both models come with different options.
Age of Sigmar – Stormcast Eternals Praetors
Let's continue on the Age of Sigmar coverage from the Stormbringer subscription with some more Stormcast Eternals. Today, we will be looking at the Praetors from issue 15, which are available as a regular kit in the Age of Sigmar range.
Depending on where you purchase them, you will either pay 10.99 EUR via Stormbringer or 44.00 EUR retail for a box of three.
But who are the Stormcast Eternal Praetors? They are elite bodyguards who are soul-bound to protect their commanders with unwavering loyalty and magical oaths. To become Praetors, Stormcast Eternals must have a profound soul connection with their commander, whether through shared adversity or family ties in their previous life. They are reforged as a unit using the highest arts of the dwarven god Grungni, which distributes the burden of reforging and strengthens their spiritual link. This connection can result in the Praetors resembling their commander and displaying unwavering devotion, sometimes at the cost of their individuality.
Age of Sigmar Warcry – Stormcast Eternals Lord Aquilor
The Stormbringer subscription included some impressive characters for Age of Sigmar, such as the Stormcast Eternals Lord Aquilor, who was delivered with issue #23 of Stormbringer.
Lord Aquilor is a character from the second edition of Age of Sigmar, released in 2017. A similar pose of a Lord-Arcanum on a Gryph-charger was included in the Soul Wars starter set. Games Workshop describes the Lord Aquilor as follows:
Commanders of the Vanguard Auxiliary Chambers, the Lord-Aquilors are masters of the hunt, tracking their foes across the Mortal Realms as they ride the winds aetheric. When the foe is cornered, the Lord-Aquilor will strike with their starbound blade, channelling their hatred of the enemies of Order into every blow as their Gryph-charger savages the opponent with beak and claws.
This multi-part plastic kit contains the parts necessary to assemble a Lord-Aquilor, mounted on a Gryph-charger and armed with a starbound blade, shock handaxe and heavy boltstorm pistol. He comes with a choice of bare or helmeted head, and a selection of accessories – a rope, grapple and bed roll – that can be used to decorate the Gryph-charger’s saddle. A magical astral compass can be attached to the pommel of his saddle.
Age of Sigmar – Krondys, Son of Dracothion and Karazai the Scarred
The Stormbringer subscription covered not only the weekly magazines, but also an optional premium upgrade. With the fourth shipment (issues 14 to 19), which included the first premium part of the subscription, you received the dual kit of Krondys, Son of Dracothion and Karazai the Scarred, two dragons from Age of Sigmar.
Dragons have always played a significant role in the World of Warhammer due to its high fantasy setting. This didn't change with the updated Warhammer Age of Sigmar brand. The boxed set features two variants of the Draconith dragons, an ancient dragon race in the Mortal Realms and the offspring of the cosmic dragon god Dracothion: the brothers Krondys, Son of Dracothion, and Karazai the Scarred. Krondys is renowned for his majestic presence, wisdom and mastery of celestial magic. He serves as one of the most powerful allies of the Stormcast Eternals and is a symbol of hope for the forces of Order. His brother, Karazai the Scarred, is marked by deep battle scars and is famous for his aggressive nature, martial prowess and unyielding courage on the battlefield. This makes him an inspirational and terrifying sight for both allies and enemies.
The RRP of the set is 135 EUR. If you pay an additional 2 EUR per issue (38 EUR until you get the first shipment) to access the premium upgrade within the subscription, you will receive this massive kit. It is spread across three large sprues and comes with a 160 mm round base.
Age of Sigmar – Realmscape Guardian Idol
The Realmscape Guardian Idol is part of the Realmscape terrain range and was included twice in the Stormbringer series by Hachette (issues 65 and 74).
The Guardian Idol was included in the Realmscape Expansion Set and the Age of Sigmar Extremis Starter Set alongside other terrain pieces such as the Realmscape Ruins and the Nexus Syphon.

The penultimate delivery for Stormbringer arrived last week! Including the premium bonus content. Amazing as this subscription started last year in January and it was surely a long run.

Age of Sigmar – Kruleboyz Swampcalla Shaman with Pot-grot
In issue 09 of the Stormbringer subscription, we get one of the first characters for the Kruleboyz, a Swampcalla Shaman with Pot-grot.
This miniature was initially released as part of the Age of Sigmar Dominion boxed set (the 3rd edition starter set from 2021), just like the Lord Imperarant, and now is available through the Stormbringer magazine for 10,99 EUR or from Games Workshop directly for 32,50 EUR.
Both miniatures fit inside a single sprue, and are currently the only regular sculpts for this unit on foot (the other one being the named character Gobsprakk on Killabeak, and Mugruk da Watcha, which was a 2022 event exclusive).
