Oathmark Dwarven Infantry
A bit out of nowhere and unexpected, Osprey Games and North Star Military Figures announced a new range of fantasy plastic miniatures, under the label Oathmark - Battles of the Lost Age, beginning with a set of dwarven infantry. This range will be released later this year, but as a special for Salute 2017, there would be a pre-release of single sprues.
The sprues were sold at 5 GBP each, so I assume a later box price of 20 GBP for a box of 20 (similar to the Frostgrave plastic pricing). I was able to get a sprue at Salute, and want to share my impression with you in this brief review.
Bolt Action KV-1 / KV-2 Heavy Tank
Third and last part of russian tank week is the KV-1 / KV-2 heavy tank kit by Warlord Games / Italeri.
Rubicon Models SU-85 / SU-122
Next up in russian tank week is the tank destroyer / assault gun kit SU-85 / SU-122 by Rubicon Models in this review.
Bolt Action M10 Tank Destroyer
In december I already covered the Rubicon multi-variant kit of the M10/M36 Tank Destroyer, now it is time in this review to take a closer look on the M10 Tank Destroyer by Warlord Games / Italeri.
Rubicon Models – StuG III Ausf. G
After covering the Maus and some Sci-Fi reviews, it is time to come back to "regular" tanks, like the StuG III. I covered the Warlord / Italeri one last november, and now I want to share the counterpart by Rubicon Models.
Adeptus Mechanicus – Tech-Priest Dominus
To stay with the Mechanicus topic, this review covers the Tech-Priest Dominus by Games Workshop, usable for Skitarii and Cult Mechanicus in Warhammer 40.000.
The miniature itself is available in two ways, as a single clamshell blister for 29 EUR / 22 GBP, or as part of the Start-Collecting Adeptus Mechanicus Bundle for 65 EUR / 50 GBP. The coloured print is the back cover of the blister and instruction leaflet in one.
Mustering Caesars Legion
After introducing the initial idea of Ancient SAGA with Caesar's Legion, it is time to bring some (plastic) pieces together and get it started. The basic foundation of this project are two boxes of plastic 28mm romans from Warlords Hail Caesar range.
Triumvirate of the Imperium – Belisarius Cawl
To continue with the Triumvirate of the Imperium, the next miniature that I'll be taking care of is the Archmagos Dominus Belisarius Cawl. My take on Inquisitor Greyfax can be found here.
Games Workshop released the box last week at a price of 65 EUR / 50 GBP. As I already wrote about the box, I won't go into detail again. But I want to add a few details, that I noticed while working on this review.
Gripping Beast Late Roman Infantry
While most associate Gripping Beast with their SAGA success story and most recently the release of Swordpoint, they presented the latest SAGA supplement Aetius & Arthur in late November. A matching plastic kit was released earlier this year, the Late Roman Infantry.
