German Wars – Part I
There is a little thing from the point of view of a wargamer from Germany, that I am a bit envy about the wargamers from other countries like England, France or Spain. It has something to do about nationality and the relation to their own countries history.
Freebooters Fate – El Grandulon
Freebooters Fate is big - and it is getting bigger. With El Grandulon the game reaches a new size and presents the first ogre miniature for the Pirate Skirmish.
Happy Hasslefree Halloween
It took a bit to arrive, due to their vacation there was a bit of a delay. But the wait was worth it.
They had a Halloween sale (20% off, so i saved more or less the VAT on the miniatures). I posted the order on 15th october, they shipped it on 3rd November and it arrived on the 10th. For the delay they added a nice goodie bag to the order.
Pinterest: Bearded Wargamers, Spanish Civil War and Modern Combat
Some of you may noticed the pinterest widget in the lower right corner of the blog. I started using pinterest to collect websites and images to different topics, and i thought it would be a nice addition to a blog roll, to gather and collect wargaming relevant content. I am not quite finished with the integration of pinterest, as the currently available widgets are not 100% capable of what i have in mind. But enough of that, i want to start of with 3 recommendations from my pinterest board.

Valuating projects and systems
To not drown in a sea of lead, plastic and resin, it is important to have an overview and bring some structure into your own hobby. Why bother the work and not just being lead by impulsive and joy buys? Well, for one, everything you buy without a proper reason, is part of a budget that is missing on another place and takes up mental and physicla space, that could be used by something else. For that i reason, i thought about some kind a SWOT Analysis for my project, that might be useful for one or the other for their own projects.
Bolt Action – SdKfz 251/16 Ausf. D Flammpanzerwagen
Based upon the SdKfz 251/1 Ausf. D Hanomag, Warlord Games added a "few" parts and released a complete plastic kit of the 251/16 Ausf. D Flammpanzerwagen.
Bolt Action StuG III Ausf. G / StuH 42
Next up, the StuG III Ausf. G, a recently released kit from the cooperation of Warlord Games and Italeri.
