Tanks and Airbrush
After cleaning the resin tanks from the release agent with a warm soap bath and an old toothbrush, they were ready to get painted.
First time the tamiya painting stand got used, and i find it pretty usefull. All of the tanks got a solid black primer from the army painter cans. And afterwards a zenital lighting / white dusting.
Leviathan Crusader
Almost 6 hours and more than 200 pictures later, the review on the Leviathan Crusader from Dreamforge Games is done. It will take a few days until all the images are edited and the text is written, but i don't want you to wait that long and want to show you some pictures ahead of the review.
Eastereggs!
I actually thought the topic snow was over, but here we are, its Good Friday and over night it was again snowing. So close to the rhine, snow is a minor problem, but i can assume that in the areas around like the Eifel or Westerwald its rather frosty.
Organizers organize
A classic problem to wargamers / miniature collectors is the waste of space. The shelves are usually much higher than they need to be be.
You can see it on the example of this shelf board filled with my bolt action miniatures.
DSLR Accessoires and other new things
It took a few days until the customs cleared the package. It was kinda tricky, as i didn't know the content. But it arrived and i was astonished. The guys from Dreamforge were really grateful for the support on their kickstarter and product line and send me one of each of their latest products. And the Crusader is huge! How huge? Well ...
Field of Glory German Open 2013
The first weekend in March was the German Open in Field of Glory. As the local wargaming scene is quite strong in Field of Glory (and warmachine, in both systems the championship winners come from this area), the tournament was held on a nearby castle, the Marksburg.
Stripping Paint and new Arrivals
... And the Results are in! Well, two big jars filled with miniatures and mellerud and thats the finished product after some serious scrubbing. Some of the miniatures were probably painted 20 years ago with some crazy sticky primer. There are some nice old and rare miniatures among them, like the tyranid cultists and daemons.
Mellerud, Bases and Accessoires
Out of the Conquest Games Norman Infantry (review is in the making) box i built the not mounted part of my Norman warband for SAGA.
Kickstarters and Dragonogres
After waiting that long and the big question, what's in it? I started unboxing the first batch of the Sedition Wars biohazard pledge. And to be sure it's complete.
Tinnelton Pattern Chimera
One or the other of you may have already read the review. I reviewed the Tinnelton Tank Turret from Anarchy Models and i am pretty amazed by the kit.
So inspired by the kit, i got myself a chimera kit and converted it. Primary i shortened the upper part and moved the turret location back.
