Salute Teaser & Preview
Just booked my flights for Salute. April 16th it is, at ExCel exhibition hall in London. So pack your bags, grab your pounds and get ready to spend some of that quids on plastic, resin and lead.
I will bring my dslr and cover the show for you, but beforehand a few teasers and previews on what we can expect and what i am already excited about.
BitBox Aftermath & vacation
The sunday before easter, the 9th Bitbox was held in Mülheim an der Ruhr. I got my own table to sell off parts of my collection and it was quite busy, as you can see, so i hadn't had the chance to take that many pictures.
Around noon it was really really crowded, and miniatures and money were exchanged - often and happily. And you could still feel the "afterwaves" of the big notice wave last year at Games Workshop Germany. Still lots of promotional stuff, employee exclusives and even official gear on sale. And the hosts, Freebooter Miniatures, was offering their range as well.
Homemade KFC Fried Chicken
Gaming night, with Blood Bowl introduction and Bitbox preparation. So yet another cooking article on the chaosbunker, this time - KFC = Koblenz Fried Chicken.
Starting with a 1,5 pound of chicken breast. And as you should support your local businesses, i get my meat at a local butchery.
Ainsty Castings
This is actually an article, that i wanted to write for a long time. I bought some Ainsty Castings at Antwerps Crisis one or two years ago, and wanted to share my impressions with you.
Terrain is an important part of gaming and as such i am looking for affordable / reasonably priced pieces, that can be used for several settings. I found good prices at Ainsty Castings (was even able to get a bit of a bargain at the show) and got myself a small cemetery and a couple of boxes.
Armoured Syndicate El Toro
Megaton Games is going to launch Armoured Syndicate later this year, and already had a few models out at last years SPIEL in Essen.
Armoured Syndicate is a postapocalyptic game in 32mm scale, covering wasteland survivors and industrial mechs, that are repurposed for warfare. One of these mechs is El Toro from the Cuervos Muertos faction (spanish for Dead Crows).
Bitbox Teaser & Preview
Next sunday, on march 20th, it is once again time for Bitbox! The tabletop flea market in the Ruhr-area.
I am already sorting out miniatures and kits, that i want to part from, and to give you a small teaser and what i am going to sell, take a look at these.
Fallschirmjäger, Wintergear and captured vehicles
I'm currently in full Bolt Action mode. The winter gear germans arrived and i'll cover them in an article on their own, with a bit of unboxing and reviewing. And the recently released plastic Fallschirmjäger will get some love too. But to be honest, it wasn't hard to come up with some love for those, as the kit itself is amazing and i had a lot of fun building them.
Terrain and Star Wars
Aquarium deco pieces are useful if you're looking for something special as a terrain piece. So this buddha statue would be a nice addition for a jungle scenario, like burma, and at 13 Euro quite cheap. So i added a picture with a 28mm miniature, to show the incredible size of that - prepainted - piece.
Rubicon Models German Stowage Set
Part of the Q4 / 2015 releases was Rubicons first stowage set, for the Germans. It covers a lot of vehicle accessoires, drums, boxes and bits of the german army.
Evaluating Blood Bowl
What better day to take on the Evualation of Blood Bowl than just after Super Bowl 50? And with the re-boot "around the corner", it is about time.

As Blood Bowl is classic, let me give you a short introduction. Blood Bowl was released for the first time in 1987, and brought a brutal fantasy version of American Football into the world of Warhammer. More a board game than a tabletop, it is played with 11 miniatures on each side, and up to 16 per team, chosen from the different races of Warhammer.
