Bolt Action Fallschirmjäger
Among the latest plastic kits for Bolt Action are the German Fallschirmjäger (Paratroopers) by Warlord Games.
Fallschirmjäger, Wintergear and captured vehicles
I'm currently in full Bolt Action mode. The winter gear germans arrived and i'll cover them in an article on their own, with a bit of unboxing and reviewing. And the recently released plastic Fallschirmjäger will get some love too. But to be honest, it wasn't hard to come up with some love for those, as the kit itself is amazing and i had a lot of fun building them.
Rubicon Models German Stowage Set
Part of the Q4 / 2015 releases was Rubicons first stowage set, for the Germans. It covers a lot of vehicle accessoires, drums, boxes and bits of the german army.
Crooked Dice Danger 5 for 7TV
Crooked Dice is currently publishing their 2nd edition of 7TV, a skirmish set up in cult tv shows. As such, a title like Danger 5 is way to interesting to say no, so the game design studio set up a themed box with matching miniatures and rules.
Heer46 SdKfz 247 Ausf. B
This will be released at the Crisis this weekend, but i am lucky enough, to already have one here for an unboxing - the SdKfz 247 Ausf. B by Heer 46.
Bolt Action Panther Ausf. A
Together with the release of the Tank Wars book, Warlord Games starts a new armoured era for Bolt Action with the Panther Ausf. A.
Yesteryear and far future
Matchbox started the "Models of Yesteryear" Range in 1956, a larger 1:43 Scale Range made for collectors. This range is heavily focussed on vehicles from 1910 - 1930. A perfect source for World War 1, Inter-War, World War 2 und Pulp Settings, either as terrain or actively used as car pool.
Tank month
It took a few weeks but my order at Ainsty Castings arrived. I bought a couple of items, some monuments that will be perfect for almost every setting. A raft, that will a nice addendum for the German Marines i painted earlier, and for some Spec-Op Missions (Commandos etc.). The riverboat was a bargain, and is a nice piece of terrain and will be used for boarding and river settings. And the last part ... a tardis. Eventhough i am not a Dr. Who Fan (i think its just weird), but hey a tardis, ... why not?
Bolt Action Blitzkrieg Infantry & Pioniers
For the early war years, Bolt Action has given the German troops two new boxes, the "Blitzkrieg" Infantry and the Pioneers box with the addition of pewter parts.
The boxes cost 25 and 28 GBP and contain 30 / 31 models. Let's take the first look at the all-plastic early infantry box.
