Bolt Action Blitzkrieg Infantry & Pioniers
For the early war years, Bolt Action has given the German troops two new boxes, the "Blitzkrieg" Infantry and the Pioneers box with the addition of pewter parts.
The boxes cost 25 and 28 GBP and contain 30 / 31 models. Let's take the first look at the all-plastic early infantry box.
Birthday, Bitbox and Autumn Update
First of all, a big thank you to everyone who send congratulations to me last weekend. I got some nice presents, like the limited Steelsoul Keg Protector and a voucher for the local kart center. Woo-hoo! It has been almost a whole month since the last update, so let's see.
Dreamforge Games – Leviathan Crusader
Dreamforge Games has been announcing this kit for a long time and the Leviathan Crusader was received with correspondingly high expectations. Can it live up to the claim? We take a look at the kit.
The model was made from hard plastic as part of a Kickstarter and is a real giant. The kit is so big that it knocks the current leader of the biggest review, the two Warmachine Colossals, off its throne. The review should also set a new benchmark with over 100 (!) pictures.
Eastereggs!
I actually thought the topic snow was over, but here we are, its Good Friday and over night it was again snowing. So close to the rhine, snow is a minor problem, but i can assume that in the areas around like the Eifel or Westerwald its rather frosty.
Perry Miniatures – Mounted Man at Arms
After the cavalry boxes by the Perrys were among the best rated kits in our reviews, a review of the Mounted Man at Arms was a must!
Update from the weekend
First off all, a short announcement. Chaosbunker is going bi-lingual, so from now on, all of the updates and posts will be in english as well as german! Hooray!
Warhammer 40,000 – Space Hulk 3rd Edition
Space Hulk was the long kept secret project for 2009. Games Workshop is giving collectors a limited 3rd edition of the space board game.
For 78 EUR, a total of 7,500 (German) copies can be purchased in German-speaking countries. One of these almost 4kg heavy boxes is also in our editorial office and we take a look inside for you.
Warhammer 40,000 – Baneblade and Shadowsword
For Apocalypse, Games Workshop has given the Imperial Army two super-heavy tank kits. The first was the Baneblade. Games Workshop then released a second tank based upon the Baneblade chassis, the Shadowsword / Stormlord boxed set.
Since both kits have been on the market for some time, here is a double build report instead of a review.
