Low Level Piracy
The tanks are organized? Check. So what next? Opening up some goodies that came in the post the last days.
What's first? Well Four A Miniatures delivered, i ordered Creature from the Black Lagoon and ALF. Casting looks good, everything went quick. /me happy.
Eldar, MDF and delicious food
A brief sign of life after this exhausting weekend. I build the new Eldar wraithguard earlier this week. The kit is quite nice with a lot of options, but the price is pretty ridiculous ... never the less, thanks a lot to Christian and Alexander from MiniWargames Wuppertal for the Box.
Warlord Games – Behind the scenes 2013
Within the Warlord Games Day, that was not used just for gaming, but although an open-door day, was a good chance to see what is going on behind the scenes.
And for all of those, who weren't there and didn't win one of the golden tickets, a couple of pictures.
Warlord Games showed a few casting molds, to show how miniatures were sculpted and casted. Beside 3-Ups (they are called like this because they are 3 times the size of the final product), that are used to produce plastic miniatures, you could see some greens and greys. That is the name of the miniatures, sculpted in green or grey modelling clay, that are later on casted in pewter or resin.
3. Quarter of 2013
The weekend is close and the third quartal '13 started. Unfortunately no new color, but a few novelties and some finally built inherid burdens.
I ordered some Artizan Design some figurines via Miniaturicum. Nice additions for Legends of the Old West and Bolt Action. Along with some Gladiators from Crusader Miniatures, those aren't that great. Casting is okay, but the sculpting is average at best.
Final spurt of may
Another weekend started and i want to share the new arrivals at the chaosbunker.
Whitsun
A prolonged Whitsun Weekend means some time for the hobby. I put some additional paint onto the Khador, more progress on the basic colours. Slowly, but steady.
Dreamforge Games – Leviathan Crusader
Dreamforge Games has been announcing this kit for a long time and the Leviathan Crusader was received with correspondingly high expectations. Can it live up to the claim? We take a look at the kit.
The model was made from hard plastic as part of a Kickstarter and is a real giant. The kit is so big that it knocks the current leader of the biggest review, the two Warmachine Colossals, off its throne. The review should also set a new benchmark with over 100 (!) pictures.
Leviathan Crusader
Almost 6 hours and more than 200 pictures later, the review on the Leviathan Crusader from Dreamforge Games is done. It will take a few days until all the images are edited and the text is written, but i don't want you to wait that long and want to show you some pictures ahead of the review.
DSLR Accessoires and other new things
It took a few days until the customs cleared the package. It was kinda tricky, as i didn't know the content. But it arrived and i was astonished. The guys from Dreamforge were really grateful for the support on their kickstarter and product line and send me one of each of their latest products. And the Crusader is huge! How huge? Well ...
Kickstarters and Dragonogres
After waiting that long and the big question, what's in it? I started unboxing the first batch of the Sedition Wars biohazard pledge. And to be sure it's complete.
