Of Updates, Beasts and Buddhas
Start up with a new Logo, on the blog and on facebook as well.

Early Christmas
Last week was kinda early Christmas wargaming-wise. First my order at Warchimera, a small polish manufacturer, finally arrived. The Defense Line is modular and what you see below is roughly 60 Euros incl. shipping.
The Worlds Aftermath
Where do we beginn? Let's do a sum up.
The Worlds Weekend was great. Chapeau! to the traders that participated and offered their goods for nice prices. I took the chance got myself some treats. Ainsty Castings Resin parts, a few Lord of the Rings blisters (what for? you will see...), Saga Dice, the new Saga Crescent & Cross Rules and the nice ruler from the Worlds Saga Tournament. Bäm! Oh and i got the Leopard 2A6 from Empress Miniatures at the Worlds!
Painting Buddha Vol 1.1 Target Identified
Painting Buddha starts up the next Volumes of their painting tutorials and for me it is about time, to show you the first Volume, “Target Identified”.
Back from the 5th BitBox
I am back from the 5th BitBox, the first in 2014. Boy, what a blast! And what bargains i could gather.
German Open and Bitbox anticipation
Roughly a month without a post, that's something i had to take care of. There were tabletop related activites in the meantime. I did a real huge load of Tank reviews! A whole month filled with heavy armoured vehicles.
Last weekend, there were the German Open in Field of Glory at the wonderful Marksburg in Braubach. I have covered it last year, if some of you remember, Field of Glory German Open 2013.
The Last of 2013
The last update in 2013. A last peak at the workbench. This won't be finished today, as we are preparing the evening programme. So what are we looking at in detail? A few Kickstarter Freebooter Miniatures are assembled, as you can see in the right picture. Further more there are the Anglo-Saxons for SAGA and a couple of kits for my Bolt Action motorpool.
Tanks, tanks, tanks
First update from the "mission: productivity". All of the resin kits from Bolt Action and Waffenkammer received a soap bath.
Christmas stocking
A whole month since the last update. Why is that so and what has been done in the meantime?
First of all, Khadorians, getting them done for Tabletop Insider. Its pain(t) in progress, but i got a bit further. Have to say, i have chosen poorly and would have been better of with the Minions like Crocs etc. as the miniatures are newer, have more detail and structure, would be more fun to paint.
Goblin Aid and Crisis
The Goblin Aid Miniatures are available, and as it is a really great charity i support this purpose. Goblin Aid is a project launched by Ian 'Geronimo' Brumby (of Fenris Games) and Jon 'Dags' Atter (cat-herder for the Frothers Charity projects) to raise funds for Kev Adams to help in his recovery.
On March 20th Kev Adams was brutally assaulted during a robbery at his home. In no time some of the finest sculptors in the miniature business volunteered to sculpt goblin miniatures that could be sold to support Kev. Ral Partha took care of the production, with all profits going direct to Kev himself.
There is great variety of miniatures to choose from, or even the whole set. I got myself 7 goblins that really appealled to me, from Werner Klocke, Kev White to Tre Manor.
