Evaluating Dystopian Wars
I wrote about evaluating my projects a few days ago, doing a SWOT-analysis, and would like to start with Dystopian Wars.
First off, what are the four characteristics that i am going to check with Dystopian Wars? They are emotion, probability, space and players. But before that, let's get everybody up to level about Dystopian Wars. It is a Victorian/pre-World War One Steampunk/Sci-Fi setting, set in an - you guessed right - dystopian world. In this case it is a mass combat ruleset, set around 1:1200 scale, which offers you gaming on the water, on the land and in the air.
Happy Hasslefree Halloween
It took a bit to arrive, due to their vacation there was a bit of a delay. But the wait was worth it.
They had a Halloween sale (20% off, so i saved more or less the VAT on the miniatures). I posted the order on 15th october, they shipped it on 3rd November and it arrived on the 10th. For the delay they added a nice goodie bag to the order.
Renedra Sandbags
Renedra covers quite a lot terrain plastic kits nowadays and among them is an accessoire sprue with sandbags. These come in single or double pack for 5 / 8 GBP.
Of running in shadows and frosty graves
Frostgrave was recently released by Osprey and North Star Miniatures and the Nickstarter for the expansion, Thaw of the Lich Lord, is online and already through the first stretch goals. As i am still struggling, if i can resist to pledge for the expansion before i even started building the basic rules and two warbands ... it's a a hard decision 😀
Star Wars, Bolt Action and Hordes
Warlord Games released a couple of nifty things earlier, among them the Polish Black Brigade and CFC Lee.
Mantic Mars Attacks Trucks
Mantic Games released for Mars Attacks these nice Trucks in 28mm scale. They are proper hard plastic, come in a sprue etc., no restic, no resin, straight forward good old plastic. I got myself a set of 3, for general purpose in Necromunda, Zombie Survival etc.
Spartan Scenic Sci-Fi Set
A while ago, actually roughly 2 years ago, i bought over a couple of month the majority of the Spartan Scenic Sci-Fi System boxes. Beginning with the Starter Set in September 2013.
Stompa stompz!
I bought a stompa at the bitbox a year or two ago, and it was a great deal. No, i don't have an ork army, but i thought of this as an impressive piece of terrain. A overhauled / half-build monstrosity, that would make a great objective for a scenario. It could be some kind of mobile mining robot for Necromunda, it could be the stompa it is for Inquisitor 28, and so much more.

Back to the Underhive – Part 2
And again back to the Underhive. First, let me share the collection box of Necromunda, Gorka Morka and other Sidegames from the Warhammer 40.000 Universum. Muties, Diggers, Scavvies and other stuff.
