Necromunda – Bulkheads
While sorting through the miniatures and getting a feel for the volume, I realised that my actual problem aren't the miniatures (they are mostly 28mm, so that's not that tall, and I don't do mass combat armies) but the terrain. And after going through the boxes and opening up the 4th box (of a few more) with Necromunda Bulkheads in it, it dawned on me that I might went a bit overboard on them.
So my stock went above 200 of these, that's more than I need.
Blood Bowl – A new stadium for a new season
You may have seen the game reports on here by Dino, with his Maulers playing different teams, like the Skycastle Titans or Altdorf Avengers, and with the topic of battle reports, I want to be prepared as well to host some Blood Bowl matches.
Therefore I got myself the basic game materials from Blood Bowl season two, covering the new pitch, templates and dice.
Kick Off 2021
I gave the indication in the holiday wishes, that I'll do another Kick-Off this year.
A few (or a lot?) of the things that were planned for 2020 had to be put on hold and are still the goals for 2021 - which was primarely having a good time. But let's talk about this in the usual format, answering a few questions.
What was the biggest challenge of 2020?
Well, yeah, the plans for the last year had a full schedule of events along with weekend trips to a couple of cities, picking up on culture and some museums. That obviously didn't happen, turning the vision of 2020 from this:
To this:
Dino’s Annual Summary 2020
As regular visitors of the Chaosbunker will have noticed, there have been rather few articles from my hand lately, which is why it's time to approach the year 2021 with a little more consistency and regularity. For many it is certainly no surprise when I say that 2020 was rather mediocre, but let's take a look at it together...
This was 2020
Basically, the year didn't start out bad at all. I went into my ongoing projects with a lot of motivation, wanting to both start a new gang for Frostgrave and finish the one I'd already started.
Happy New Year 2021!
Enjoy todays New Year's Eve and have a Happy New Year 2021!

Get out your paints and brushes, have a good meal and proper drink along with it, get out your games, consoles or lego bricks and have a good time.
December 2020 review
Busy month, for multiple reasons. I continued with sorting out my stock and sorting out. After going through my Blood Bowl collection, that is now pretty much complete, I went on with Necromunda (not the 2017 re-release, but the mid-90s variant). I did sheets for the multiple gangs, to get an overview on poses and doubles. Quite happy with the status. Will post a search and sale post in the new year.
Sisters of Battle – Order of the Sacred Rose
The Sisters of Battle have come together, and I store my projects while gathering them in these sorting boxes. But this isn't a good overview, so while sorting out and taking stock, I decided to set up sheets for my projects that I can manage in photoshop and see which units go together, even after a break or being distracted by some shiny new stuff.
Merry Christmas 2020!
I want to wish you a Merry Christmas! Frohe Weihnachen and Feliz Navidad!

Warhammer 40.000 – Sisters of Battle assemble
How did the filling of the gaps go? Not bad, patience and a broad network really paid out with this one.
I was able to buy two SoBs with heavy weapons from one seller, an unbuild immolator (whoop-whoop!) and priest from another one and Martin / Zigor, a good friend of mine from the Tabletop Rhein Main (you might remember my coverage of their convention - The Multiversum) made me an offer I couldn’t refuse on a bulk lot of SoBs.
Adeptus Titanicus – Mechanicum Questoris Knights Styrix and Magaera
Towards the end of the year we see a new release of Mechanicum Knights by Forge World. Along the regular Questoris Knights (and later upgraded kit) two new classes enter the epic sized battlefield of the Horus Heresy - the Questoris Knights Styrix and Questoris Knights Magaera.
These being Forge World releases, this means a few differences towards the regular Adeptus Titanicus range. Most present is the direct only availability, as Forge World is only sold through Forge World themself or at Games Workshop events (and at Warhammer World). But they overhauled their shipping costs, making availability through their online shop quite a bit more affordable. And the second difference compared to Games Workshops main range they are cast from resin and not injection mould plastic or finecast. But more on that further below.
