Spaniards for Saga Crescent & Cross
A short overview on the 6 points Warband for Saga Crescent & Cross. I've chosen Spaniards.
Scratchbuild Sunday
I promised further progress on my Anglo-Saxons, and so i did. First of all, a little thing i like to share. I mark the bases underneath with numbers and letters, to keep track of the squads / troops organisation. This is something, i find usefull especially with for example crew members, so can keep them together if they are seperately based.
And i did some scratchbuilding on the Lokomotiv. The roof is done and i am not sure about the funnel, but i prefer the red one. Those are caps from medical supplies a friend of mine gave to me. Quite easy and fast solution for funnels, exhausts etc.
P-P-P-P-Plastic!
Clipping parts from sprues, getting rid of mold lines and assembling them. Busy, busy. I built the Universal Carrier and the Panther Ausf G from Warlord Games yesterday for upcoming reviews, along with the Warzone Starter of the Brotherhood.
The Worlds Aftermath
Where do we beginn? Let's do a sum up.
The Worlds Weekend was great. Chapeau! to the traders that participated and offered their goods for nice prices. I took the chance got myself some treats. Ainsty Castings Resin parts, a few Lord of the Rings blisters (what for? you will see...), Saga Dice, the new Saga Crescent & Cross Rules and the nice ruler from the Worlds Saga Tournament. Bäm! Oh and i got the Leopard 2A6 from Empress Miniatures at the Worlds!
The Last of 2013
The last update in 2013. A last peak at the workbench. This won't be finished today, as we are preparing the evening programme. So what are we looking at in detail? A few Kickstarter Freebooter Miniatures are assembled, as you can see in the right picture. Further more there are the Anglo-Saxons for SAGA and a couple of kits for my Bolt Action motorpool.
Of Anglosaxons and Pirates
As promised, the next update! I will show you some pictures of an upcoming article about SAGA. In this case my own warband of Anglo Saxons. Consisting of Musketeer Miniatures (pewter) and Gripping Beasts (plastics).
Rowdd 2013, Pegasus Bridge and SAGA
Last Weekend I was in Thuringia, at Radaddels Wide Open Door Day. It was a fun weekend, again tabletop loaded. But this time not only as a customer / visitor. I held a seminar on the status quo of wargaming in Germany, and helped out Mantic and Warlord Games doing an Q&A. And i did some shopping, i stocked up on Freebooters Fate.
Mellerud, Bases and Accessoires
Out of the Conquest Games Norman Infantry (review is in the making) box i built the not mounted part of my Norman warband for SAGA.
Weekend Crisis – Crisis Weekend
The weekend is more or less over and i can look back on some busy days.
A show without some hurting shoulders and my packed messenger bag wouldn't be a real show!
Let me say a big thank you and chapeau! to the great work the Tinsoldiers of Antwerp have done organizing the Crisis 2012. Amazing event!
Gaming Capitals
Last weekend i was in Nuremberg, City of one toy show, and this week i'll head to Essen, City of the other toy show.
But lets start with Nuremberg, interesting city, great food, delicious beer and a really nice old town.
