Munchkin Warhammer 40,000 – Savagery and Sorcery Supplement
After Faith and Firepower Munchkin Warhammer 40.000 receives a second supplement, Savagery and Sorcery and adds the very iconic rivalry between the Space Wolves and Thousand Sons to the card board action.
I've covered the base set of Munchkin Warhammer 40.000 in Summer, a few days ago the first supplement Faith and Firepower and that creates a 280 card deck. This second supplement adds another 112 cards to the game. The US box has a RRP of 19.99 USD, the German box supplied by Pegasus Spiele costs 12.95 EUR.

3rd Advent Weekender
We are heading fast towards the end of the year. And an expected envelope from Sweden arrived. Didn't connect any of the nordic countries with the fulfillment of the subscription or parcel services.
Wargames Soldiers & Strategies Great Wargaming Survey, prices for the survey participants have been sent and received. I went for the tank commander sprue, as you can see casting is well and less glossy than in the past with human miniatures.
More civilian mobs from Gangs of Rome
In September I added a few Roman civilians from Footsore's Gangs of Rome to my collection, as a roman village or small settlement just wouldn't be complete without them. I already bought a few of these, but was missing one of the mobs - mob primus - a lamentable state of affairs that had to be remedied.
Along with that, I got the angry and rioting mob and two individuals, the domini secundus and tertius. All of these come with a MDF base, the mobs with a group base, that covers a underlining of thin cardboard.
Oathmark Goblin Infantry
Another non-human boxed set for the Oathmark range is the Goblin Infantry. I've already covered the Elves and the Dwarves in the past, so if you want to take a look at them, click the links above.
The Oathmark - Battles of the Lost Age range is a project by Osprey Games and North Star Military Figures, with Renedra covering the casting. I didn't buy this kit nor did North Star gave it to me for review purposes, I traded it from the travelling box HANS!. That is the reason why the box is a bit beat up and the sprue of square bases is missing.
2nd Advent Weekender
St. Nicolas was busy this week, and no I am not talking about the holy Nick Cage, and put a couple of things into the stockings.
I managed to acquire some Hobgoblins from the Chaos Dwarf Blood Bowl team at the Games n' Dice demo day. And my first intention was to use that as a base to start from, but I saw a complete team, incl. those special positionals (even the blunderbuss) and went for it. It is a higher invest, but I saved a lot of time and postage on smaller batches and individual orders.
Long story short, I have 15 hobgoblins that I'd like to sell. So drop me a message if you're interested.
More Paint stripping and equipment stock up
A while ago I stocked up on equipment, to continue the work on the miniatures. Somebody gave me the hint to use nithril gloves instead of the regular latex ones. They are a bit more sturdy, that is clear, but the aceton dissolves the glove and an black oily smear goes onto the miniatures and tools, as you can see from the head of the tooth brush.
Christmas Weekender 2019
It's December 2019, only 4 weeks 'til christmas and the year is nearly over. So what's cooking in the remaining weeks until 2020?
Of course the project of Abaddon's Black Legion will continue, as it is the most compact of the Oldhammer / Midhammer / Retroprojects and therefore should be the easiest to finish.
Oldhammer Chaos Space Marine Squads
To add more core troops to the project, I decided to go get two squads of Chaos Space Marines to support the CSM Terminators. When they were released in 1996 (a bit later 1997 in Germany), the regular "goons" of the Chaos Space Marines were available as metal and plastic kit, at the same time.
Baron’s War Kickstarter arrived
Andy Hobday, one of the heads behind Footsore Miniatures got together with Paul Hicks and started a crowdfunding campaign in September for the first Baron's War.
The first Baron's War, 1215 to 1217, was another english civil war. And due to the timeline and style of the miniatures interesting for me, as I could use some of the models for my Crusader project, that I mainly source from Perry Miniatures former Norman / now Crusades range.
